Textile Air Washer, Duct and Underground Tunnel Cleaning

Clean Metro, Inc. is an air washer and duct cleaning contractor based in West Columbia, SC, serving SC, NC, GA and TN. For a multi-site textile manufacturer we run a recurring annual program across air washers, ducts, and walk-in tunnels.

Textile and industrial air handling systems collect lint, fiber, scale, and corrosion that cut airflow and add fire load. We clean air washer cabinets, plenums, ducts, and underground tunnels, and recaulk and recoat when the system needs it.

What we clean

  • Air washer cabinets and casings
  • Return and supply plenums
  • Duct runs
  • Underground air tunnels
  • Eliminator and spray sections
  • Ceiling plenums above production

How we do it

Dry ice, low-pressure wash, and hand tool cleaning by surface type. Recaulk and coating by spec. Work is sequenced around outages and other trades.

Questions we get

Can you clean ducts and tunnels without shutting the plant down?

Usually we work in sections during outages or low-demand periods. We plan the sequence with your maintenance team so airflow comes back where production needs it first.

Do you recaulk and recoat too?

Yes. After cleaning we can recaulk joints and coat casings and plenums to your spec, so one crew handles the whole outage scope.

What do you do with the lint?

We bag and remove it as we go, and leave the area clean, with before and after photos for your records.

Got a mess on the schedule?

Send us the scope, photos, or a walkthrough date. We'll tell you straight whether it's our kind of work.
