Two Asheville hotels needed glass and facades cleaned where a lift couldn't reach. Clean Metro sent SPRAT-certified rope access crews down both: a new Element by Marriott downtown and the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore.

Element by Marriott Asheville Downtown is a new six-story hotel on a hillside above the highway. Clean Metro worked for both the construction manager and the owner, with the cost split evenly between the interior and exterior scopes. Inside, crews ran the construction final clean. Outside, rope access techs cleaned the windows down every elevation, including the interior courtyard.
At the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore, crews pressure washed and cleaned the windows on the tower and courtyard, all by rope access, with the hotel open.
Both jobs ran under a written, site-specific rope access safety plan, written to code: anchors, rigging, drop zones roped off below, and a rescue plan on site.
