Six Apartment Complexes, Cleaned With Residents at Home

A private equity group was buying, rehabbing, and restoring apartment complexes in one metro market. Clean Metro cleaned the exterior of the first one: 250 apartments across 20 buildings, with residents living there the whole time.

Scope
Occupied exterior cleaning: vinyl siding with gloss enhancer, patios and balconies at height, roofs, sidewalks
Scale
250 units in 20 buildings, then 5 more properties

The work

Crews washed every building's vinyl siding and finished it with a gloss enhancer, because the siding was starting to show its age. Patios and balconies were cleaned from outside at height, from a boom lift, so nobody had to let a crew through their apartment. Roofs and sidewalks got cleaned too.

Working from the lift lets the crew control the angle and pressure on the siding. That cuts the risk of driving water up behind the vinyl and into the walls and units.

When the group bought, rehabbed, and restored its next five properties, it brought Clean Metro back for every one: six complexes in all.
